At least one soldier killed in Somalia bomb blast

MOGADISHU -- At least one Somali soldier was killed in a huge bomb explosion targeting government troop's vehicle on Friday near Afgoye town in lower Shebelle region, southern Somalia, police officers said.
Police officer Mohamed Abdi told Xinhua that the bomb blast which was planted on roadside caused the death of one Somali solder.
"The explosion took place when the government soldier's vehicle was passing near Afgoye," Abdi said.
