RE: RECOMMENDATION OF A SUITABLE FUTURE CANDIDATE FOR SOMALIA
We the undersigned elders comprising leaders and sultans from all the clans of eighteen Somali regions who have been intensively and comprehensively campaigning to secure the complete restoration of law and order in Somalia would like to introduce Eng. Iraad Hassan Warsame to all you honourable ladies and gentlemen.
The above named person is of Somali nationality and is a well known charismatic, enthusiastic and passionate person with brilliant leadership qualities whom the whole Somali people have grown to love, appreciate and fully accept, this is affirmatively evidenced by the collective stance taken by them in voicing their willingness to have him as a future leader. He is a very dedicated and goal directed individual who is having a very vast and brilliant education background as a graduate in Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a highly reputed International University in Germany.
The manifestation of his dedication and passion in ensuring stability and prosperity to his people in the land of Somalia was clearly highlighted with the individual contribution and participation which he constantly portrayed by taking a keen interest and being a front figure without hesitation in the peace talks regarding Somalia which was held in various places around the world.
Eng. Warsame has shown that only does he have a charismatic passionate and dedicated personality but also he posses a soft, large and compassionate heart too, he has been rendered by many as the darling of Somali people because he takes personal interest
in listening and helping the needy in any way possible including sharing part of his wealth with the less fortunate without expecting anything in return.
Taking all these factors to consideration, we the Somali people have taken it as our dedicated duty and obligation in introducing Eng. Iraad Hassan Warsame to the International Community and also to the Transitional Federal Government by collectively forwarding our requisition to have his name considered in the waiting list of prospective future candidates who are dedicated and committed in steering the land of Somalia into unlimited prosperity peace and stability.
We would like to strongly and categorically make it clear that this should neither be a misinterpreted or considered as an act of defiance nor in any way be seen as an intention to undermine the Transitional Federal Government which has been in place but sadly, we cannot fail to acknowledge the fact that there has been continuous failure in performance and very limited role has been played in bringing peace to our beloved country. This can further be evidenced by the fact that the existing federal government is only in control of a barricaded state house a few streets in the capital.
We as the elders would like to strongly condemn the use of violence or force by any individual or organization as a means of channelling any ideologies or beliefs, we have constantly urged and pressed for all the concerned parties to have the courtesy and sense of mutually extending the olive branch to each other.
It is very clear and logical that in no way can violence bring any prosperity and peace in the land of Somalia, this fact applies to all the concerned parties including the Transitional Federal Government who had taken upon them a stance of shelling their opponents with explosives who were more than obliged to return the sentiment hence after the dust cleared, the only thing left behind is a suffering innocent population of victims who hope and pray for nothing else but peace.
This is where we consider our nominated candidate fits in namely Eng. Iraad Hassan Warsame, he has shown to be the man of the people in possession of great leadership qualities driven with nothing but a vision of love, peace and reconciliation hence we highly recommend him in taking the mantle of Somali leadership when the time is right where there is no hope left and all avenues point to nothing but a dark, grim and uncertain future and no sole individual is categorically standing strong enough to fill and eliminate that dark void. A time will arise when a new beginning is compulsorily required, a time when a breath of fresh air distant from the prevailing politics which have come to have been the order of the day leaving behind nothing but chaos and destruction will be needed.
At present, this might be considered and seen as nothing but just a mere figment of imagination but nothing is impossible, this thought can be converted into an existing reality and this can only be achieved by only having that responsibility bestowed on the shoulders of a man with a clear perception and belief of its practicability. It has to be a man who has no past history of affiliation with any act of violence or intimidation which has been synonymous with the land of Somalia in the past and we consider Eng. Irad Hassan Warsame to be the perfect prospective candidate fitting that prestigious profile, we the elders of all the clans in Somalia have envisioned a bright future in having the above named person being given the highest office in our land.
