Some Somali nationals have been attacked in Zwide and Soweto on Sea townships in Port Elizabeth. The attack is believed to have been incited by a shooting incident earlier today in Zwide, in which a Somali national allegeldy shot dead a local resident after an argument.
The Somali nationals are now moving their stock from shops in the townships to Korsten in the northern surburbs.
Meanwhile, police have been deployed in the affected areas and are guarding the Somali shops.
