Eastleigh family seeks justice

A family in Eastleigh that lost its two members has appealed to police and the government to help it get justice and protection.

Abdinasir Haji is the father of Abdulwahab Abdinasir, a student pushed off a building in Eastleigh by an Administration Police officer in December last year.

Speaking to the Star yesterday, he urged police to also revisit the death of his father Muslim imam Sheikh Hassan Ali.
Ali was killed in 1999 when raiders attacked him at his residence in Moyale town.

Haji said his son was respectful and police accused him of having bhang to kill him.

Marsabit Senator Abubakar Godana has also urged police to investigate the deaths.

He said it takes police many years to investigate and finish cases of residents who have been killed.
Godana condemned the killing of a herdsman in Marsabit last week.
