During the meeting, Ambassador Mohamed was briefed on Turkmenistan's key domestic and foreign policy strategies. Turkmenistan, known for its strategic neutrality, has cultivated a foreign policy that seeks to engage with various nations while avoiding involvement in regional conflicts. He was also introduced to the structure and activities of the Mejlis, the legislative body of Turkmenistan, providing him with a deeper understanding of the country's governance.

Ambassador Mohamed expects to enhance economic ties, particularly in infrastructure development.

Ambassador Mohamed also serves as Somalia's envoy to Somalia, where he was appointed in February. He will continue to be based in Ankara.

Somalia's recent initiatives highlight the current administration's strategy to strengthen its global presence and attract international support for its development goals.
