Mogadishu (HOL) – A Somali delegation led by Defense Minister Ahmed Moalin Fiqi is attending the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, a major international defense conference underway in China.
The forum, held at the Beijing International Convention Center under the theme “Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development,” has drawn participation from more than 100 countries and international organizations.
Minister Fiqi emphasized Somalia’s active role as a current member of the United Nations Security Council, highlighting the country’s broader foreign policy objective of contributing to stability worldwide.
The Beijing Xiangshan Forum has become one of the most prominent platforms for addressing global security challenges and fostering dialogue at a time of heightened international tensions.
