Mogadishu (HOL) -At least three people have been killed in a landmine explosion in Garasbaale on the outskirts of Mogadishu on Tuesday.
The blast claimed the lives of Ali Mohamed Moalim, the deputy commissioner for security and politics in Garasbaale; Abdirashid Dubad, a youth activist as well as their driver.
There are reports that a fourth man, their security guard, may have been killed in the attack as well.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Still, Somali-based al-Qaeda affiliated group al-Shabaab had claimed responsibility for similar attacks targeting government officials in the Horn of Africa country.
