Sheeran will arrive in Kenya on 30 March and the next day attend meetings of the UNAIDS Committee of Co-sponsoring Organizations and UN Development Group.
On 1 April, Sheeran and UN Environment Programme Executive Director Achim Steiner will sign an agreement to reduce the risk and impact of climate change on the environment, improve food and nutrition security and promote solutions for the protection and advancement of vulnerable people.
On 3 April, Sheeran will make a trip to Dadaab where three camps hold a growing number of refugees fleeing conflict and drought in Somalia. She will be accompanied by UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres and Executive Director of UN Women Michelle Bachelet.
WFP feeds the refugees at the Dadaab camps, which constitute one of the largest concentrations of refugees in the world.
